10 Mini-Grants will be funded this year across the district
The Kutztown Area School District Education Foundation is proud to announce the granting of its inaugural mini grants for teachers.
Upon returning to school for the 2022-23 school year, teachers first learned of the mini grant possibilities. Classroom teachers were invited to submit proposals by 10/24/22. The respective buildings, the district, and finally, the Foundation reviewed the applications for their connection to our missions. The result was that 10 mini grants will be funded this year across the district.
The mini grants slated for implementation this school year include the following:
Author Visit – GES & KES
Equipment for a TV Studio - KAHS
One Book, One School – KAMS
Library Butterfly Garden – KAHS
Osmo Kits for Letter and Word Recognition – GES
iPad Microscopes – KES
Rubik’s Cube Club – KES
The Artist’s Palette, a cooperative effort between Visual Arts and Family and Consumer Science – KAHS
Kittenbot Meowbit Codable Game Consoles – KAMS
Building a Language Arts Classroom Library – KAMS
Watch for photographs and videos of these projects in practice in the classrooms. We look forward to seeing the impact on our students! The mini grants have been made available through the generosity of our donors.
