Strategic Plan Outcome

The Kutztown Area School District Education Foundation worked with the La Salle Nonprofit Center to develop a strategic plan to guide future decisions. We began our work in January 2023 and approved the plan for implementation at the April board meeting. 

After conducting numerous interviews and analyzing our strengths and weaknesses, we recognized that our work needed to center on informing people about the Foundation. Our donors have been enormously generous in sustaining our efforts, and we believe we need to respond by doing a better job of communicating what the Foundation does for the district, its students, its alumni, and the community. We identified five short-term goals and one long-term goal to guide our outreach efforts moving forward.

• Promote the Foundation at selected district and community events.

• Promote the Foundation by growing our contact list.

• Promote the Foundation via Facebook mini campaigns.

• Promote the Foundation by naming a recent graduate to the board.

• Increase donor engagement by emphasizing donor appreciation.

• Review results of the above promotions and plan for future advertising and fund-raising actions.

We are committed to employing our donors’ contributions most effectively to Improve Education Together in our district. We believe our new strategic plan will help guide us to that end.
