Sensory Regulation Resources Mini-Grant

Mini grants go much deeper than the resources they purchase. Mrs. Nattress, Ms. Schoener, and Ms. Carey had ordered Loop Earplugs as part of their Sensory Regulation Resources mini grant. They invited 14-year old Mya Devlin, founder of the MyAutism Foundation, to teach the students how she uses the Loop Earplugs and how they help her. Then, she taught the students and teachers how to use these sensory tools to help meet students’ individual needs. Mya also worked with two 5th grade classes to understand some of the hidden parts of neurodiversities like Autism and ADHD.  It was a great experience for the students on World Autism Day! Thank you to all of our generous donors for supporting a mini grant that benefited students and teachers!
