Thank You to Our EITC Donors!

The Kutztown Area School District Education Foundation is approved as a participant in Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program. Under this program, approved recipients must use the funds to carry out innovative educational programs that are not already part of a district’s academic program.
 
Businesses that make contributions through the EITC program may be awarded tax credits to apply against their tax liability for the tax year in which the contribution was made. A business can earn tax credits equal to 75 percent of its contribution. That amount can be increased to 90 percent of the contribution if the business agrees to provide the same amount for two consecutive tax years.
 
Through the recent generosity of East Penn Manufacturing, Weis Markets, Trust Bank, and a new donor, Fraser Advanced Information Systems, we received a total of $20,500 in EITC donations, the bulk of which will be used for digital learning-related purchases. Collaboration, problem-solving, communication, and design thinking are expected to remain as pillars in each of our K-12 digital Learning Hubs, STEAM events, and Innovative Projects through the future.
