Imagination Library - Inviting ALL Young Readers

Dolly Parton started Imagination Library to inspire a lifelong love of reading.  The KASD Education Foundation supplies free books for children (ages 0-5) through this book gifting program.  Each child living in the district who is enrolled in the program will receive one new book each month from birth up to their 5th birthday.  This means your children could be starting out Kindergarten with 60 books in their home library!

Currently, we have 932 children registered with this exceptional book gifting program.  "The Imagination Library program allows my daughters to have the opportunity to have access to new books.  They are so excited to get a new book once a month in the mail.  They love all the new stories we get to read at night.  Their favorite books have been The Rabbit Listened by Cori Doerrfeld and Somewhere, Right Now by Kerry Docherty." ~ Katie Schnabl

Registrations for the Imagination Library are accepted year-round. To register your child to receive this free gift of literacy, simply go to www.imaginationlibrary.com, scroll down and click on the link that says "Can I Register My Child?" or click on the Sign-Up button on the webpage. If you have any questions about registration or the program, please contact Mrs. Melissa Devlin at mdevlin@kasd.org.

Your generous donations to the KASD Education Foundation help make this critical literacy program possible and we appreciate your continued support!
